I am currently in the air heading back from LA after a very successful premier for the documentary DVD I directed for the band All Time Low. This was a very surreal experience for me because it is one of the first times where I have seen my ideas turned into reality on a big screen, with a large crowd. I wasn't expecting such an amazing turnout, I really didn't know what to expect. I had heard that it sold out the first day but they had a red carpet, paparazzi, and some of the top industry artists attend. I kept getting thrown infront of cameras/interviewers which was pretty interesting...I can't wait to see them online so that I can see how big of an idiot I sound like...oh well.
Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 and Pete Wentz were sitting a row in front of me so it was great to hear what they thought about the documentary. A couple people came up to me and told me that Mark Hoppus and Pete Wentz thought it was the most amazing band documentary they have ever seen...lol I dont really know what to say or believe but thats pretty crazy. I'm crossing my fingers that I will get to collaborate with them very soon!
Overall, I keep saying this, but the past few days have been very surreal for me. I can't thank Hopeless Records and All Time Low for trusting me and my vision on this documentary.
