Dohaland Corporate Commercial Shoot in Doha, Qatar

A few weeks ago I was hired by The Council Bridger Conway to DP a 4 minute corporate commercial for Dohaland. The film will be mainly used to showcase the companies profile, vision, mission and values as well as highlighting the companies five pillars. The spot was Produced & Directed by Altas Ali who's based in UAI. This was my first time collaborating with Altas and it proved to be a a very succesfull one. We worked very closely in pre-production to ensure we were on the same page visually. I brought on my good friends/ colleagues Timur Civan as B Camera operator, and Raymond Bishir as 1rst AC.  The rest of the crew were all locals from Doha.We flew in from NYC and shot for a total of 6 days.

As some of you may know I was actually born in Doha, Qatar. I lived there for the first 8 years of my life and frequently go back to visit family and friends. This was my first time back in more than 7 years. It was interesting to see how much the country has changed both economically and socially. I noticed the country is now more diverse than ever before, and the architecture is some of the best and most intuitive I've seen until this day. Below are some of the screenshots from the film.
